Personalized Recovery Support
The Canadian Red Cross case management teams will work directly with people to discuss their unique needs and help them navigate their recovery journey and access available supports. This support may include planning for the return home, understanding insurance and community resources, providing referrals and information to help make decisions and inform next steps, and providing financial assistance to support recovery needs.

Support for Housing Repair and Reconstruction Program
For those whose primary residence in Jasper sustained major damage or was destroyed, and who have housing expenses related to the wildfires, this support may include financial assistance to help with securing temporary accommodations, as well as assistance to help with additional expenses such as transportation and costs related to rebuilding or repairing their home that are not covered by insurance, including soil remediation and testing.Visit this page for more information on financial assistance to help cover costs related to post-demolition soil remediation and testing.
Canadian Red Cross supports are intended to support with basic needs and aim to ensure households are safe, warm and dry. Financial assistance is determined on a case-by-case basis and is not intended to duplicate insurance coverage, or other assistance programs.

If you do not have an email address or prefer to communicate with us by phone, please call 1-800-863-6582, Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm MST. A private and confidential appointment will then be arranged with your family representative. Appointments may take place over the phone or virtually.
