2026 Ottawa Floods
On July 1, 2026, the City of Ottawa experienced intense rainfall over a short period of time, along with high winds. This impacted families and communities across the city.
We are working closely with the City of Ottawa, provincial and federal governments, as well as community partners to support residents impacted by the flooding following the extreme weather event on July 1.
With a presence at the City of Ottawa’s information hubs, our volunteers have distributed clean up kits, teddy bears as well as information and resources to help those affected residents navigate flood damage, insurance, and available support.
