Mélanie Chartier has been a Canadian Red Cross volunteer since 2018. She is a member of the Rouyn-Noranda Personal Assistance Team (PDAT). She is also the coordinator of the Regional Emergency Response Team (ERT). She is a member of the Quebec’s volunteer emergency on-call team. Finally, she is an ambassador for the Wal-Mart fundraising campaign for Rouyn-Noranda and Val-d'Or.

Eric Dion

Eric Dion has been a volunteer since 2018. He is an Emergency Response Team (ERT) coordinator, a Personal Disaster Assistance Team (PDAT) team leader, and a senior emergency management facilitator. He frequently responds to PDAT calls in Montréal. He served as a site manager during the Manitoba wildfires in the summer of 2025, assisted with the reception of Ukrainians, and supported vaccination centres during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Clara Reinhardt retired from the Canadian Red Cross in 2015. She was working in Prevention and Safety. As a First Aid Master Instructor Trainer and a Water Safety Master Instructor Trainer, she worked with National Advisory Groups, coordinated the Drowning data collection and reports, and represented the Canadian Red Cross at the Canadian Safe Boating Council. She has experience working with and living in Indigenous Communities in four western Provinces and three Territories.

Since then, she has led the McMaster University subgroup of the Red Cross and still serves as a Personal Disaster Responder in Hamilton. She has participated in large Red Cross responses, including refugee claimant and COVID-19 pandemic responses.
