Rita Saliba
Rita Saliba is from Lebanon and as a university student, she got involved with the Youth Progam of the Lebanese Red Cross. During the war, the Red Cross assisted her and her family, and since then the Red Cross has always been part of her life.Since joining the Canadian Red Cross in 2014, Rita has been volunteering her time helping with fundraising and organizing special events. She holds the position of Social Media Coordinator within the Lebanese Red Cross Support Committee where she helps the committee increase their online presence and build buzz for new fundraising projects.
Rita is a bilingual interior designer with a Master’s in project management. She holds the position of President of her University’s Alumni Chapter.
Rita has been a National Member since 2020. Rita’s motivation to continue serving as a National Member is to further use her knowledge and commitment to contribute to the organization’s governance excellence.
Rita lives in Laval, Québec.
