Denis Cormier
Denis Cormier has been a volunteer with the Canadian Red Cross since 2007 mostly in emergency management.
As a bilingual francophone from New Brunswick, Denis has helped train many Red Cross volunteers over the years in both official languages. He has volunteered as a facilitator on the learning and development team for the Red Cross. In recent years, he has also been involved in workplace integrity investigations at the Canadian Red Cross.
The majority of Denis’ career was with the federal government, where he worked for 35 years. At the time of his retirement, he was a Human Resources Manager and provided advice and counsel to senior executives.
In addition to Denis’ experience as a front-line volunteer, he has also been a voting member since 2018. Being a National Member gives him a global perspective on CRC’s operations.
Denis lives in Dieppe, New-Brunswick.
