Michelle Landsiedel


Michelle lives in Fort McMurray, Alberta. She started volunteering with the Canadian Red Cross after being impacted by the fires that devastated the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo in 2016. She first joined the Red Cross in 2017 as part of the Personal Disaster Assistance team before also joining the Emergency Response team later that year. 

Project management and emergency managment are her areas of expertise.Holding a Project Management Professional designation and working in Alberta’s dynamic oil sands operations, Michelle is responsible for coordinating emergent response to production risks from an Operations, Maintenance and Technical perspective.
 
Her long-term goal is to be involved with the International Disaster Repsonse Team for the Red Cross, and she knows that any exposure to the operations in Canada and around the world is critical to achieving her goal. She is grateful for this opportunity to support at the national level of the Red Cross, as a National Member.
