The Canadian Red Cross is working in close collaboration with the Government of British Columbia and community partners to support families and individuals as they recover from the devastating 2017 wildfires.
Thanks to the generosity of the Government of B.C, and Canadian Red Cross donors the Canadian Red Cross is providing additional assistance for individual and family recovery in the weeks, months and years to come.
If you have been impacted by the wildfires and have urgent, unmet needs, we invite you to contact our call centre at 1-800-863-6582 Mondays to Fridays between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT. The call centre is closed on weekends and statutory holidays.
Experience has shown us that support for small businesses, not-for-profit organizations and cultural livelihoods that support First Nations communities are essential to the full recovery of the people and communities affected by a disaster.
