In Summer 2021, I completed my first co-op term with the Canadian Red Cross, as an Emergency Care Worker in the Langford COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic. This summer work term proved to be one of the best work experiences I’ve ever had – and the Red Cross is to thank for that!

Parents, teachers and caregivers can all play an important role in keeping children safe when they are in, on or around water. Drowning is preventable. Through education, we can help children enjoy the water safely this summer.

The Red Cross has put together a series of educational resources on water safety intended for both children and those who care for them.

It is a gathering of Manitoba First Nation artists invited to react to and create with the themes of health and wellness. In partnership with the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs, the Canadian Red Cross produced the colouring book as part of a continuing conversation with First Nation communities to support health and wellness.
