South Sudan became an independent country one year ago today. The ICRC has been working with the newly created South Sudan Red Cross to deliver health care along the border in very challenging conditions that include violence and lack of resources. In this video, Dr. Georgia Monti, a paediatrician working with the ICRC, describes how the conflict is impacting the children he’s treating.
