Lori Anne Companion is an experienced leader and strategic thinker, having served in numerous executive roles, including multiple Deputy Minister roles with the provincial public service in Newfoundland and Labrador. She has dedicated more than 34 years to public service, helping to shape both social and economic policy.
Lori Anne has extensive experience in emergency response and crisis management from many perspectives including floods, landslides, forest fires and hurricanes. Since retiring, she was the Executive Lead for the Hurricane Fiona Response in NL, providing leadership and coordination to the multi-department response with governments and stakeholders at all levels.
She currently holds several Board positions including the Provincial Public Service Pension Plan Corporation- Provident P10, where she sits on the Governance and Human Resource Board Committee and the Audit and Finance Committee, and is a member of the Order of Newfoundland and Labrador Advisory Council. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics and completed the Executive Development Program at Memorial University.
Lori Anne was born and raised in Newfoundland and Labrador, is a member of the Q’alipu First Nation and enjoys splitting her home time between city and small-town living.
