Denis Desilets

Denis Desilets brings deep institutional knowledge of the Canadian Red Cross, supported by CRC governance experience at the local, provincial, and national levels.

He is currently the Chair of the National Membership Committee, Chair of the National Awards Committee and received the IFRC – Region of Americas 2025 Outstanding Volunteer award. He is bilingual (French/English), a respected volunteer, has a clear understanding of the governance–management distinction, and a proven ability to contribute constructively on governance-related matters.

Denis retired from Hydro-Québec after 36 years of involvement in management, advisory and communications functions.
