Canadian Red Cross First Aid Programs are offered through Red Cross Training Partners. As a certified Red Cross Instructor, you are eligible to teach for Red Cross Training Partners only. Our comprehensive Instructor Development Program is designed to prepare Instructors to support dynamic, learner-centered classroom environments. Candidates will gain access to instructional tools that customize learning to the various provincial/territorial, industry, and/or personal needs of the learners. Red Cross Instructors can apply to work for an established Red Cross Training Partner, support in-house training at their company or organization, or apply to become a Red Cross Training Partner (application process and limitations apply).

Designed for candidates who wish to deliver Canadian Red Cross Professional Responder courses, including Basic Life Support (BLS), First Responder (FR), Advanced First Aid (AFA), Emergency Medical Responder (EMR), Oxygen Therapy (OT), Marine Advanced First Aid (MAFA) and Airway Management (AM). Course content focuses on instructional techniques, including designing and supporting scenarios, organizing courses, and how to support dynamic, learner-centred classroom environments.
