Ensuring communities are prepared for disaster
- Through private donor funding to the Red Cross, we were able to put together the necessary supplies to be able to provide each community with an emergency response team kit. The kit ensures a community’s emergency response team has many of the tools it needs to respond quickly and set up an emergency operations centre.
Bingo Makes Everything a Little Better
- COVID-19 has made for a challenging year for everyone. It is particularly challenging for the occupants of the isolation site in Winnipeg. The Canadian Red Cross Safety and Wellbeing team does what they can to make the isolation stay as pleasant as possible. They offer movie nights and trivia nights. And now they are running Friday night BINGO!
