January 10, 2018 - The Canadian Red Cross wants you to be someone’s hero when you witness bullying in a school, on the playground or in workplaces. The hashtag #BeSomeonesHero and a comic book font highlight the superhero theme of the iconic Pink Day T-shirt revealed by the Red Cross today.

Red Cross announces pilot project to assist seniors in rural communities maintain independence

(Regina, March 23, 2015) - The Canadian Red Cross is announcing a Friendly Visiting pilot program to combat seniors’ isolation. The Red Cross and the project’s founding partner, SecurTek, will officially launch the program in Yorkton this fall, with plans to expand to Preeceville, Norquay, Ituna, Melville, Langenburg and Churchbridge.

Red Cross reveals new design for iconic pink shirt

REGINA, February 24, 2015 – A fresh, bold look for the iconic pink shirt is being revealed for Red Cross Day of Pink. 
“We’ve gone to a much darker pink than in previous years and we also feature a large Imagine No Bullying statement on the back of the shirt,” said Richard Kies, Provincial Development Manager for the Red Cross in Saskatchewan.
