Recruitment for the COVID-19 response: Current opportunities

The Canadian Red Cross is is hiring humanitarian workers who will provide vital support to Canadians.

Our goal is to build and maintain teams who will take on various roles, including entry-level positions. Teams will be asked to commit to a minimum of four weeks, though shorter and longer assignments are also available. Travel and accommodation will be provided if needed.
 
We are looking for people with a range of skills and experience to help us bring relief to those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Minimum requirements for all positions include:
  • Passion and ability to work to help others
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to handle and facilitate interactions with the general public, clients and colleagues
  • Sensitive and empathetic to the needs of clients and able to communicate and engage confidently
All personnel must complete a satisfactory Enhanced Police Information Check (EPIC).

All personnel must be able to pass required confidential Health Screening and COVID testing.
