In Saskatchewan we work closely with Stantec and recently helped them run a Build a Preparedness Kit contest with their staff. For five weeks they got emails about what should go in a kit and were encouraged to build an emergency kit of their own.
Last week, in Regina, Shandra Vedress was presented with her prize of a Canadian Red Cross wind up radio and flashlight for having the most well stocked and creative kit.
