Scott Osmachenko spent the last 20 years as a Governance and Leadership Volunteer with the Canadian Red Cross being involved in governance at every level and being part of task forces to reform CRC membership. Scott has also been involved with Friendly Calls, Injury Prevention, Disaster Management and Fundraising.
Scott recognizes the importance of highlighting the contribution of volunteers to fulfilling the Red Cross’ mission. As such, he is a member of the Saskatchewan Volunteer and Awards Committee, and a member of the National Volunteer and Awards Committee.
Scott is currently the Recreation Services Manager with the City of Moose Jaw. Previously, he held roles with the Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services as Community Recreation Coordinator and Health Promotions Manager. He is also the current Vice-Chair of the Saskatchewan Community Initiatives Fund.
Scott’s motivation to continue as a National Member with the Canadian Red Cross is to further serve the Society.
