Scott Osmachenko


Scott is from Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. As a long-time volunteer since 2002, Scott has held many roles at local, provincial, and national levels for the Canadian Red Cross.
 
He has previously Chaired the Saskatchewan Provincial Advisory Committee and the Southern Saskatchewan Regional Council. He was also Co-Chair of the Western Zone Council.He served as a member of the National Governance Committee Task Force on Provincial Advisory Committees and the National Membership Review Taskforce. He is also a current member of the Saskatchewan and National Volunteer Awards Committees.
 
Scott has also been involved with the Canadian Red Cross as Respect Education Facilitator, Water Safety Ambassador, Disaster Management Volunteer, fundraiser, social media ambassador, and master of ceremonies for award ceremonies.

Scott is currently the Recreation Services Manager with the City of Moose Jaw. Previously, he held roles with the Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services as Community Recreation Coordinator and Health Promotions Manager. He is also the current Vice-Chair of the Saskatchewan Community Initiatives Fund.

Scott’s motivation to continue as a National Member with the Canadian Red Cross is to further serve the Society.
