Appeals opened to help people impacted by wildfires in Saskatchewan and Manitoba
Thousands of people are receiving support from the Canadian Red Cross as wildfires continue to have a devastating impact on communities across Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
Working alongside Indigenous leadership and all levels of government, the Red Cross is providing registration, reception and information, emergency accommodations, meals, and personal services to those forced to evacuate their homes.
The Canadian Red Cross has opened two separate appeals – the 2025 Saskatchewan Wildfires Appeal and the 2025 Manitoba Wildfires Appeal – to support individuals and communities affected by devastating wildfires in both provinces.
People wishing to make a donation to the 2025 Saskatchewan Wildfires Appeal or the 2025 Manitoba Wildfires Appeal, can do so online at redcross.ca or by calling 1-800-418-1111.
Donations to the Canadian Red Cross will be used to assist those impacted in Saskatchewan or Manitoba with immediate and ongoing relief, including financial assistance, support to evacuees and the communities hosting them, recovery and resilience efforts in response to the wildfires, as well as supporting community preparedness and risk reduction for future all-hazard disaster events within Saskatchewan or Manitoba.
