Aun Ali Khokhawala
Aun Ali Khokhawala is a seasoned professional with global experience in governance, compliance, audit and risk management. He is currently the Vice-President of Assurance and Risk Management at IAMGOLD Corporation, a gold producer and developer based in Canada, previously he worked at Ernst & Young’s Advisory practice.
He is a Chartered Accountant; holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University of Karachi in Pakistan and is certified in Risk and Information Systems Control, Risk Management Assurance, and is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and the Information Systems and Control Association.
Aun has been engaged with the Canadian Red Cross since 2009 and has held the positions of Chair, Vice Chair, and Council member for the Toronto Regional Council. He has been serving on the Canadian Red Cross Board of Directors since 2017 and has served on the Audit and Finance Committee as a member and as the Chair of the committee for the last three years. He is a member of the Governance Committee and the Quality Committee. He is currently Member of the Governance Committee and the Quality Committee.
Aun resides in Newmarket, Ontario.
