As the Canadian Red Cross responds to support the people affected by the crisis in Ukraine, many people, partners and corporations have reached out looking for ways to support. The Canadian Red Cross is fortunate to have a network of highly trained humanitarian aid workers who can be mobilized at a moment’s notice to help support those affected by crisis and disasters around the world.The Canadian Red Cross is continuously recruiting volunteers to assist with disaster responses in Canada, please see below. 

The Red Cross continues to monitor where volunteers may be needed to help support this response.

Four Steps to Become a Volunteer

 Step 1: Apply
Complete an online application

 Step 2: Interview
You will be invited to an in-person or phone interview to discuss your interests.

 Step 3: Screening 
We will coordinate the required screenings (i.e. police check or drivers abstract (if required).

 Step 4: Orientation
You will be provided with an orientation to the organization (policies, online training and other administrative steps).
