Canadian Red Cross and Walmart Canada launch annual giving campaign

- As Canadians face an active start to the wildfire season and communities continue to recover from recent floods, the Canadian Red Cross and Walmart Canada are launching their annual giving campaign to support emergency response efforts across the country and strengthen community resilience.

Canadian Red Cross provides financial support to small businesses and not-for-profits in Saskatchewan following wildfires

- Thanks to a $15 million funding commitment from the Government of Saskatchewan, the Canadian Red Cross has announced the Support to Small Businesses and Not-for-Profits Program to further help with recovery efforts. The program will provide financial assistance to eligible small businesses and not-for-profit organizations directly impacted by the 2025 Saskatchewan wildfires.

Financial assistance available for people evacuated from homes in Saskatchewan

- The Canadian Red Cross today announced that financial assistance is available for eligible households evacuated from their primary residence due to wildfires in Saskatchewan. The financial assistance is thanks to the $15 million committed to the Canadian Red Cross by the Government of Saskatchewan (announced in June 2025) and is designed to contribute to households moving into their recovery.
