- The Canadian Red Cross today announced that on behalf of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, it will be distributing financial assistance to people who have been evacuated from their primary residence due to wildfires in Newfoundland.

Financial assistance available for people evacuated from homes in Saskatchewan
- The Canadian Red Cross today announced that financial assistance is available for eligible households evacuated from their primary residence due to wildfires in Saskatchewan. The financial assistance is thanks to the $15 million committed to the Canadian Red Cross by the Government of Saskatchewan (announced in June 2025) and is designed to contribute to households moving into their recovery.
