Canadian Red Cross provides financial support to small businesses and not-for-profits in Saskatchewan following wildfires
- Thanks to a $15 million funding commitment from the Government of Saskatchewan, the Canadian Red Cross has announced the Support to Small Businesses and Not-for-Profits Program to further help with recovery efforts. The program will provide financial assistance to eligible small businesses and not-for-profit organizations directly impacted by the 2025 Saskatchewan wildfires.
Holiday financial assistance available for people impacted by wildfires in Newfoundland and Labrador
- The Canadian Red Cross announced today that $500 in additional one-time financial assistance will be provided to eligible households impacted by the 2025 Newfoundland and Labrador Wildfires. This support is thanks to the generosity of donors and is intended to help cover costs and expenses related to wildfire recovery during the holiday season.
