Scott Osmachenko spent the last 20 years as a Governance and Leadership Volunteer with the Canadian Red Cross, being involved in governance at every level and being part of task forces to reform Canadian Red Cross membership. Scott has also been involved with Friendly Calls, Injury Prevention, Volunteer Awards, Disaster Management and Fundraising.
Scott is currently the Acting Director of Parks and Recreation with the City of Moose Jaw. Previously, he held roles with the Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services as Community Recreation Coordinator and Health Promotions Manager. His volunteer roles have also included the Saskatchewan Community Initiatives Fund, the Moose Jaw Special Olympics, and the Saskatchewan Games.
Scott combines deep Red Cross experience with municipal leadership, bringing practical oversight of strategy, finances, and operations. Scott’s record in community engagement and volunteer development positions him to contribute practical, disciplined insight to Board deliberations.
