Miranda Hubbs

Miranda Hubbs is an Independent Director who has served on the boards of a variety of large North American public companies, Crown Corporations, and regulatory organizations.

Prior to her retirement in 2011, Miranda was Executive Vice President and Managing Director of McLean Budden, one of Canada's leading institutional asset managers. During her investment career, she was recognized by Brendan Wood International TopGun Awards as one of the Top 50 Portfolio Managers in Canada and one of the TopGun Investment Minds in Oil and Gas (Canada). 

Miranda is a member of the Global Risk Institute Sustainable Finance Advisory Committee, the Institute of Corporate Directors Climate Strategy Advisory Board and is National Academic Director for the Certificate in Sustainability and Resilience for Directors program.

She holds a BSc from Western University, an MBA from the Schulich School of Business, and is a CFA charterholder. She holds the FSA (Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting) credential, the CERT Certificate in Cybersecurity Oversight, is a graduate of the NYU-Nasdaq Centre for Board Excellence Cyberscholar Program, and holds the Effective AI for Directors Certificate from NACD/Carnegie Mellon. In 2025, she was awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal.

Miranda is a founding member of the Canadian Red Cross Tiffany Circle, a network of women philanthropists committed to helping people and communities by investing in the humanitarian work of the Canadian Red Cross. She has been a member of the Canadian Red Cross Board of Directors since 2017. From 2023 to 2026, she served as Chair of the Board. Miranda is based in Toronto, Ontario.
