Additional Roles with the Canadian Red Cross:
My journey with the Red Cross started in Water Safety, first as a Water Safety Instructor before becoming a Water Safety Instructor Trainer. As my career evolved to land, from the pool deck to the ambulance, so did my Red Cross training – becoming a First Aid Instructor Trainer and Professional Responder Instructor Trainer. I have been a part of the Instructor Development Centre Taskforce and most recently will be a part of a new initiative as a Prevention and Safety Quality Assurance Lead.
Personal Message:
I have been fortunate enough to be a Master Instructor Trainer for the past seven years. I have two energetic, kind, and caring little girls. Our family loves to escape the city to the cabin whenever we can. In my professional life, I started as a Paramedic in 2006, to then teaching Paramedics in 2017, and am currently in a Senior Leadership position with Saskatchewan Polytech.
What do I love most about being an MIT? All the people that I get to meet, places I get to see – and relationships built across the country.
