Building capacity to better respond to emergencies in northern Saskatchewan

Lorne Stewart, a Red Cross volunteer through a partnership with Prince Albert Grand Council, travelled to 22 northern Saskatchewan communities in the middle of winter to recruit more than 200 volunteers. Having local volunteers who know their neighbours and their community helps disaster responses go more smoothly.
