Photo of the Day: Providing first aid following Typhoon Washi

Every day, we publish a photo to show Red Cross at work across the country or around the world. Do you have a photo to share? Let us know!

Today’s photo is courtesy of the International Federation of Red Cross Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). It was taken in the Philippines where more than 600 Philippines Red Cross staff and volunteers are currently providing support after Typhoon Washi caused massive devastation and flash floods over the weekend. One of the ways the Philippines Red Cross is helping is by putting up first aid stations, like this one, in different evacuation points in the impacted areas to assist affected families.
