Community health worker contributes to change in community
January 29, 2015 - In Narukumo, located in Central Pokot in Kenya, lives 32-year-old Simon Mariach. Simon is one of the 26 community health workers collaborating with the Kenya Red Cross to implement change around the community’s perception of health with an aim to reduce or eliminate preventable diseases.
HBC Foundation to match Canadian donations supporting response to West Africa Ebola outbreak
October 13, 2014 - A generous donation match offer from Hudson’s Bay Company (HBC) Foundation will support Red Cross emergency response efforts and encourage Canadians to respond to the urgent need for donations to combat the spread of the Ebola virus.
