Help Red Cross choose its 2020 Saskatoon Humanitarians of the Year

The Canadian Red Cross is seeking nominations for the 2020 Saskatoon Young Humanitarian of the Year and the 2020 Saskatoon Humanitarian of the Year.
 
Red Cross Humanitarian of the Year Awards are presented to two individuals in Saskatoon who demonstrate the spirit of humanity in a local, national, or international capacity by:

• Promoting mutual understanding, friendship, cooperation, and lasting peace among all peoples;
• Contributing to the alleviation of human suffering, protection of life, or the promotion of health;
• Educating the public on the meaning and importance of humanity and human dignity; and
• Promoting respect for human beings.

This will mark the fifth year the Red Cross has officially recognized outstanding humanitarians in Saskatoon. Through the Humanitarian Awards, the Red Cross aims to document and officially recognize the spirit of humanity; draw public attention to the full scope of humanitarian activity; and inspire others to pursue humanitarian goals.
 
The selected nominees will be recognized at the Red Cross Power of Humanity Awards luncheon on April 21, 2020.
