Quebec fundraising event was a success

Over $1 million was raised at the Canadian Red Cross annual fundraising event

Nearly 400 people participated in the 18th Canadian Red Cross annual fundraising event held on September 27th at the Grand Quay of the Port of Montreal, which raised $1,015,400. Benefitting the Canadian Red Cross Emergency Management fund, this amount will be used to prepare for the unexpected while assisting those impacted by disasters across the country.
 
The 2022 edition was co-chaired by Ms, Hélène V. Gagnon, Chief Sustainability Officer and Senior Vice President, Stakeholder Engagement, CAE, and Mr. Paul C. Genest, Senior Vice President, Power Corporation of Canada.
 
Over the years, this annual Red Cross fundraiser has become a significant event on the Montreal scene. Since 2005, it has raised over $18 million for the Red Cross mission: help people and communities in need in Canada and worldwide and help to strengthen their resilience by delving deep into the power of human interaction.
