Children in Conflict
The UNB International Law Society is pleased to present our annual International Humanitarian Law conference. In collaboration with the Canadian Red Cross and New Brunswick's Office of the Child and Youth Advocate, this year’s conference seeks to raise awareness of the plight of children during times of conflict. Our esteemed guest speakers will explore how International Humanitarian Law protects children in war zones. Specifically, we plan to address the use of child soldiers, as well as children who are displaced by conflict. We believe that children everywhere have the right to safety and security, and that the international legal community plays a significant role in protecting these values.
