Relief in the Crosshairs: International Law and the Protection of Aid Workers during Armed Conflict

         
                

Join us for a discussion with a panel of experts from the Judge Advocate General (JAG), the International Committee of the Red Cross, the Canadian Red Cross, and others. Participate in the discussion relating to types of conflict, who is protected, accountability issues, and challenges faced during these conflicts.

Join us after the conference for a social in the foyer at the College of Law. The social will provide an opportunity for attendees and presenters to continue discussing the issues raised during the conference. The social is sponsored by the Canadian Council on International Law. Coffee & cookies will be provided.   

The conference hours of 3.5 have been approved by the Law Society of Saskatchewan. The College of Law (U of S) will be designated as the provider and the event will added to the CPD data base for lawyers at which time the CPD hours can be self-reported on the Lawyer’s Member Profile.
