A wine fair as a fundraiser? Sure, why not! Last month, about 950 people raised their glass in support of the Canadian Red Cross by attending the 10th annual Saint John Wine Fair. The event attracts equal parts Red Cross supporters and wine aficionados in the New Brunswick port city. It helped raise $48,000 for local Red Cross programs and services. Cheers to that!
