Photo of the Day: So Long and thanks for the cup

Every day, we publish a photo to show Red Cross at work across the country or around the world. Do you have a photo to share? Let us know!

When the Stanley Cup made its way through the Town of Slave Lake earlier this week, Red Cross personnel couldn’t help but snap a few photos with the hockey behemoth.  The Cup was brought in to help improve public morale in the wake of devastating wildfires earlier this year, but it also brought a little shine to the Red Cross volunteers and staff, who are themselves working to improve the situation for people on the ground as they rebuild their lives.
