Sharing the power of humanity through the power of the internet

Nowadays, you can share anything by a click of a mouse:  a YouTube video, a news article, info on the latest “must-have” item. However, there is an event coming up designed to share something else through the internet: ideas on how to make the world a better place.

On Sunday November, 27, about 500 guests –including diplomats, heads of National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, academics, journalists, corporate and financial leaders, and other movers and shakers, thinkers and doers – will gather in Geneva, Switzerland for a special event being organized by TEDx, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC).

The event, called TEDxRC2, will have a series of speakers (who have yet to be revealed – it’s a surprise!) who will share their unique thoughts and insights into what can be done to multiply the power of humanity.

For those unable to be there in person, the main event will be webcast live over the internet to groups around the globe, as well as National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, who can organize their own discussions about the topics presented.
