The Canadian Red Cross has launched an appeal to help support people impacted by the wildfires in Maui, Hawaii.

The fires spread quickly on the island of Maui as strong winds fanned the flames, destroying homes and businesses and causing thousands of people to evacuate.

The Red Cross is working to support emergency relief efforts and get help to people affected by the devastating wildfires in Maui as quickly as possible. Money raised will enable the Red Cross to provide relief, recovery, and resiliency activities in response to this and future disasters within Hawaii and the United States.
Canadians wishing to make a donation to the Hawaii Wildfires Appeal can do so online at www.redcross.ca or by calling 1-800-418-1111.
