The Canadian Red Cross Cooler Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is brought to you by the Canadian Red Cross Society (the “Sweepstakes Sponsor”). The Sweepstakes starts on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. EDT and ends on Wednesday September 9, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. EDT (hereinafter, the “Sweepstakes Period”) after which time the Sweepstakes will be closed and no further entries will be accepted. By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants acknowledge compliance with, and agree to be bound by, these Sweepstakes Rules and Regulations (the “Rules”).

Eligibility

To enter and be eligible to win the Contest, entrant must:

• Be a Canadian resident;
• Have reached the legal age of majority in his/her province or territory of residence prior to the Contest Period. (an “Eligible Participant”)

Employees, representatives, volunteers of the Sweepstakes Sponsor and their subsidiaries and affiliates, media partners, advertising and promotional agencies, and members of the immediate family (parents, children, siblings, and spouse, regardless of where they are domiciled) of any of the aforementioned, and persons with whom any of the aforementioned are domiciled are not eligible to enter the Sweepstakes.

How to enter the Sweepstakes

No Purchase Necessary. For greater clarity, the Sweepstakes provides a no purchase necessary method of entry. To enter the Sweepstakes, Eligible Participants must perform any of the following actions:

• Submit an entry, go to https://www.redcross.ca/StayInformed, fill in the Sweepstakes form with all requested information, including without limitation, your name, email, and phone number, and submit the form by clicking on the Submit button during the Sweepstakes Period. (each, an “Eligible Entry”)

Each Eligible Entry gets each Eligible Participant one (1) entry to the Sweepstakes. Limit of one (1) Eligible Entry per Eligible Participant. If it is discovered that you attempted to enter more than once, all your entries will be void. There is one (1) prize pack to be won among all the Eligible Entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. No purchase necessary to enter the Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable Canadian federal, provincial, territorial, municipal, and local laws.

Sweepstakes Draw

One (1) potential winner will be selected by a random draw from among all Eligible Entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. The draw will take place on or about September 10, 2026, at the offices of the Sponsor at 9:30 a.m. EDT.

Odds of Winning

The odds of winning the Prize pack will depend upon the total number of Eligible Entries received from Eligible Participants, during the Sweepstakes Period.

Prize

There is a total of one (1) Canadian Red Cross–branded backpack cooler tote, with an approximate retail value of twenty-five Canadian dollars (CAD $25.00) (the “Prize”) to be won among all the Eligible Entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.

The Prize must be accepted as awarded and may not be sold, transferred, or converted to cash and will not be refunded for any reason. No substitutions, changes, or extensions are permitted. Sweepstakes Sponsor reserves the right at its sole and entire discretion to substitute the Prize for another prize of equal or greater value.

Winner Notification and Claiming of Prize

In order to be declared the winner and be able to claim the Prize, the Eligible Participant selected by random draw will be contacted by e-mail by the Sweepstakes Sponsor or one of its agents or representatives on or about September 10, 2026 and must confirm acceptance as Eligible Participant eligibility and mailing address within five (5) business days of contact. If the Eligible Participant selected cannot be contacted or does not confirm acceptance within 5 business days the Prize will be considered forfeited and another Eligible Participant will be selected by way of random draw. No credit or reimbursement will be provided if the Prize is not claimed.

No correspondence will be undertaken except with the selected Eligible Participants whose Eligible Entry was drawn.

Proof of identification must be provided upon request.

Before being declared a winner, the Eligible Participant will be required to correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question and sign a release and waiver form stating, without limitation, that the selected Eligible Participant: (i) complies with the eligibility requirements; (ii) has read and understood the Sweepstakes official Rules and complies completely; (iii) accepts the Prize as awarded; (iv) acknowledges the Sweepstakes Sponsor’s right to publish his/her picture, name, and city of residence without compensation other than the Prize offered;(v) successfully answered a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question; and (vi) releases and agrees to hold harmless of all liability the Released Parties. “Released Parties” means the Sweepstakes Sponsor, its subsidiaries and affiliates, media partners, advertising, promotional agencies and each of the foregoing entities’ directors, officers, employees, contractors, successors, assigns, and agents.

Limitation of Liability

Eligible Participants agree that the Sweepstakes Sponsor is not liable for: (i) any incorrect, late, delayed, incomplete, lost or inaccurate transcription of entry information or for any error or malfunction of any kind in connection with the Sweepstakes, including any issue in recognizing an eligible action to enter the Sweepstakes as an Eligible Entry; (ii) injury or damage to Eligible Participants’ computer or internet-connected device or that of any other individual related to or resulting from participating in, or downloading any material regarding the Sweepstakes or accepting the Prize; (iii) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from Eligible Participants’ participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of the Prize; (iv) the security or privacy of information transmitted via computer networks or for breaches of privacy due to interference by third-party computer hackers or otherwise; or (v) late, lost, misdirected or unsuccessful efforts to notify a potential winner. If the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause, the Sweepstakes Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to, without advance notice, terminate or suspend the Sweepstakes, in whole or in part, or modify or amend these Rules in any way, without any further obligations to Eligible Participants.

Furthermore, if the Sweepstakes Sponsor determines, at its sole discretion, that any entry compromises the integrity of the Sweepstakes, the Sweepstakes Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify the entry at issue or terminate the Sweepstakes in its entirety without any further obligations to Eligible Participants.

The Sweepstakes Sponsor further reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual from the Sweepstakes and to ban the individual from any future Sweepstakes of the Sweepstakes Sponsor who it finds or believes to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes; to be acting in violation of the Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.

All entries are subject to verification by the Sweepstakes Sponsor and may be disqualified if they are received outside of the Sweepstakes Period, are incomplete, irregular, lost, stolen, illegible, damaged, misdirected, submitted through illicit means (including but not limited to, robotic, automatic, or programmed means) or if they contain any false statements, or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of these Rules.

All entries submitted, and all information provided, by Eligible Participants must be complete and accurate. Sweepstakes Sponsor will not be held responsible for any technological malfunctions, telephone or internet interruptions, or any late, incomplete, erroneously completed Prize claims or release and waiver forms.

Indemnification

By entering this Sweepstakes, Eligible Participants agree to release the Released Parties from any and all liability in connection with the Sweepstakes and the Eligible Participants’ participation therein, and indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses in connection with the Sweepstakes and the Eligible Participants’ participation therein, or, if declared a winner, the Prize awarded and use thereof. This release and indemnity shall continue in force following the termination of the Sweepstakes and/or awarding of the Prize.

General

By entering the Sweepstakes, each Eligible Participant acknowledges and agrees that the Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, nor is associated with any third party, and that the Canadian Red Cross is fully responsible for the conduct and administration of the Sweepstakes, including the selection of winner(s) and the distribution of prizes.

By entering the Sweepstakes, Eligible Participants acknowledge and expressly consent to the Sweepstakes Sponsor, media partners, advertising and promotional agencies, storing, sharing, and using the personal information submitted with his/her entry for the purpose of administering the Sweepstakes and in accordance with the Sweepstakes Sponsor’s Privacy Policy publicly available on Sweepstakes Sponsor’s website.

By entering this Sweepstakes, Eligible Participants agree the Released Parties will bear no liability whatsoever regarding any use, collection, storage, and disclosure of any Eligible Participants’ personal information.

Furthermore, by entering the Sweepstakes, Eligible Participants grant to the Sweepstakes Sponsor the right to use and publish without compensation the likeness, full name, city of residence, and photograph of the Prize winner and Eligible Participants waive all rights with respect to printed, broadcast, and other forms of publicity.

Eligible Participants further agree that all entries submitted and their content become the property of the Sweepstakes Sponsor. All intellectual property, including but not limited to trademarks, trade names, logos, designs, promotional materials, web pages, source codes, drawings, illustrations, slogans, and representations are owned by the Sweepstakes Sponsor and or its affiliates. All rights are reserved. Unauthorized copying or use of any copyrighted material or intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.

Eligible Participants agree to be bound by all decisions of the Sweepstakes Sponsor regarding the Sweepstakes which shall be final and binding in all respects.

The Sweepstakes is subject to applicable federal, provincial, and local rules and regulations.

For Quebec Residents only: Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity Sweepstakes may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a Prize may be submitted to the board only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Rules, or the rights and obligations of an Eligible Participant in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
