Health Equipment Loans

As a result of a competitive procurement process, the Department of Social Development will be launching a new basic home health and mobility equipment program, Community Aids for Independent Living New Brunswick (CAIL-NB). The new program will be operated by Tango Medical, a provider of home medical and rehabilitation equipment and services. Tango will begin accepting new referrals effective June 1, 2026.

All Canadian Red Cross offices in New Brunswick will remain operational and open to the public Monday to Friday (8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) until Friday, June 26, 2026.

Effective Monday, June 29, 2026, Red Cross equipment and donations will ONLY be accepted for return at the Moncton and Saint John warehouse locations. Business hours at these two locations will remain the same, Mondays to Fridays (8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m).
