Parent Booklet

The Expect the Unexpected program includes an activity booklet for parents. This reference tool and check list is designed to help the whole family learn about the main natural disasters and emergency situations that could occur and how to prepare for them. It also helps parents better assist their children in understanding and applying the material learned in class.

Posters

The Expect the Unexpected program includes two posters featuring simple questions about natural disasters, potential emergency situations and advice on how to prepare for the unexpected. These posters can be used as prompts to present the program and serve as tools to increase student awareness of the importance of emergency preparedness.
