How Canadian Red Cross Monthly Giving Works

Every day, Red Cross volunteers and trained staff work with families and communities to bring care and support where it's needed most.

By becoming a monthly donor and providing regular support, you will enable the Canadian Red Cross to continue being there – bringing comfort, shelter and support for the long-term, throughout Canada and around the world.

Signing up to become a Canadian Red Cross monthly donor:

When you sign up as a monthly donor, we will make ongoing and automated deductions from your bank account or credit card on the 1st or 15th of every month.

You can choose your donation amount, and you can contact us at any time to change or cancel your monthly gift.

The easiest and most cost-effective way to sign up is online. You can also phone 1-800-418-1111 to set up your monthly gift.

Your first monthly donation will be processed when you sign up and then automatically on the 1st of each month going forward.

In the coming months after becoming a monthly donor, we will send you updates showing how your donation is being put to work. Also, keep an eye out for tips on disaster preparedness and first aid.

Every February you will receive your consolidated charitable tax receipt that includes every donation you made that year along with your Canadian Red Cross Donor Report featuring stories from the field.
