Photo of the Day: Canadian Red Cross youth across the country

 NYEAC PHOTO

This past weekend, members of the National Youth Engagement Advisory Committee (NYEAC) met up in Ottawa to discuss the future role of youth within the Canadian Red Cross. The NYEAC is made up of youth representatives from across the country, with the goal to attract and engage with youth within the Canadian Red Cross. The NYEAC is currently made up of six representatives and I had the pleasure of meeting and working with all of them last weekend.

In the back row, from left to right, is Sam VanderVeer, Chair of the NEYAC, and Oliver Whelan, the Atlantic Canada representative. From left to right in the front row: Amy Mapara, Coordinator of Youth Engagement, myself, Kori Cook as the Western Canada representative, Sophia El Chaar from Quebec, and Naomi Diestelkamp from Ontario. It was a great weekend!
