Send your help where it is urgently needed
Your support helps the Red Cross be there in the most difficult of times. Last year, for example, you helped people find resilience in the face of devastating earthquakes, destructive floods and conflicts that have torn apart lives and nations. It’s hard work, but more necessary than ever.
When a powerful earthquake struck in March 2025, Myanmar was already facing a humanitarian crisis. An estimated one third of the population needs aid and three million people are internally displaced. The Canadian Red Cross quickly got to work. Thanks to generous donors in Canada, we are working to deliver emergency relief and get help to those impacted.

Whether they're planning a return to their home, or need help navigating insurance and community resources, people affected by the Jasper wildfires cannot be left behind. That’s why even months after wildfires ended in Jasper, our teams are still busy on the ground. And it's all thanks to generous donors like you.

In the face of 690 wildfires between 2023 and 2024, the Red Cross mobilized to set up 10 emergency shelters and 13 reception centres. Thanks to donations like yours, we were able to respond and provide items such as blankets and pillows, along with crucial financial support for food and essentials to help people evacuated from their homes.
