Rita is from Lebanese origins and resides in Quebec. In Lebanon and as a university student, Rita got involved with the Youth Progam of the Lebanese Red Cross. During the war, the Red Cross provided assitance to her and her family, and since then the Red Cross has always been part of her life. Since joining the Canadian Red Cross in 2014, Rita has been volunteering her time helping with fundraising and organizing special events. Rita is a member of the Lebanese Red Cross Support Committee in Canada.
Rita is a bilingual interior designer with a master’s degree in project management. She specializes in planning, setting up and managing projects, and she coordinates and acts as a liaison between the various stakeholders. She also has negotiation skills and the ability to communicate and relate to people, which makes her an excellent collaborator.
Rita has a strong commitment to the Red Cross and a willingness to advance the organization’s mission. She looks forward to serving
