Robert Zed is an innovative entrepreneur, philanthropist, and community leader who is the founder and chair of the Zed Group, a diversified collection of companies in the broad spectrum of healthcare strategy, navigation, hospitality, and event production. Over the past 40 years, Robert has established dozens of companies, including Triangle Strategies, ZedEvents, and Crothall Services Canada.
He has a fellowship from the American College of Healthcare Executives, a certification from the
Rotman Institute of Corporate Directors and the Canadian College of Health Services Executives. He also holds a Master of Health Services Administration, a Certificate in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology).
He is a Queen’s Jubilee Medal recipient; been named one of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40; and is a member of Atlantic Business Magazine’s Top 50 CEO Hall of Fame.
Robert was elected to the Board of Directors for Canadian Red Cross in 2023 and is a member of the Audit and Finance Committee.
Robert is based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
