This upgrade includes a new payment provider with secure industry-standard technology to keep your information secure. Unless we contact you explaining otherwise, your donation will continue as planned and no action is required..
Keep this secure login link handy and bookmark it for login. Use your email to sign in; there is no need to remember a password. Note: the donor portal will only recognize one individual’s name per email address. If there are multiple monthly donations using the same email address, the accounts will be merged. The donor portal is a self-service online dashboard where you can manage your recurring monthly payments. You’ll be able to change your monthly donation amount, change the donation date, change payment information, pause your monthly plan, dedicate your donation, and more. You will still receive your consolidated annual tax receipt for all monthly donations in February by email or mail, but this will not be available in the donor portal. We partner with Stripe, the industry's established payment provider trusted by some of the world's largest companies. You can rest knowing your information is safe.
A secure login link is a security feature that helps us protect your information and verify your identity. Just enter your email, and we’ll send you a link. By clicking that secure login link, you’ll automatically be signed in to your account. Secure login links expire in 24 hours.
Absolutely! Please note that you may notice a slight change to how your monthly charge appears on your credit card or bank statement. The charge should appear as “CRC 800 418 1111” or “CRC_DON_DONATION OTTAWA ON”. If you have any questions or concerns you can email us at wecare@redcross.ca or call us at 1-800-418-1111.
The bank mandate is a required communication as part of our transition to a new payment provider. Your monthly gift is secure and will continue to process as planned. No further action is required. The purpose of the bank mandate is to authorize the Canadian Red Cross to debit your bank account every month.
We are pleased to offer many payment methods with our new online donation platform. We currently accept credit cards, pre-authorized debit, PayPal, Google Pay and Apple Pay.

When you cover our transaction costs, you're covering both our processing and donation platform costs. You will receive a tax receipt for the full amount donated, including the transaction fees, and your donation will have a greater impact on our mission.
