Helping families affected by wildfires

From June 19 to 28, 2018, on behalf of the Government of Saskatchewan, the Canadian Red Cross provided emergency assistance to 937 people who were affected by smoke from wildfires near Southend, SK.

From May 21 to 25, 2018 Waterhen First Nation, in Saskatchewan, was evacuated because of forest fire smoke. 299 people registered with the Red Cross. Assistance was provided on behalf of the Government of Saskatchewan.
