July 13, 2023 - In mid-January 2022, the community of Igloolik, Nunavut went from its first case of COVID-19 to over 100 cases in the span of three days. The takeover of COVID-19 operations by Red Cross nurses was warmly welcomed, allowing local health staff to focus on other equally important public health issues.
