Emergency Community Support Fund: Interactive Map

In April 2020, the Canadian Red Cross was one of three intermediaries selected to administer the Government of Canada’s $350 million Emergency Community Support Fund to help charities and non-profit organizations adapt frontline services for at-risk Canadians during COVID-19.

Granting Program for Non-profits
  • Grants of $5,000 or more were made available to support Canadian non-profits providing direct service delivery to those most vulnerable to the health, social and economic impacts of COVID-19.
Personal Protective Equipment and Training to Prevent Disease Transmission Program
  • Free personal protective equipment (PPE) and training to prevent disease transmission was available for frontline workers responding to COVID-19 in low- and medium-risk environments.
