Canadian Red Cross submitting proposal to assist with Community Services Recovery Fund

Ottawa | January 24, 2022

Canadian Red Cross applauds the Government of Canada’s decision to launch the Community Services Recovery Fund for charities and non-profits.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, charities and non-profits have been working tirelessly to respond to the needs of communities and to support people facing heightened vulnerability in Canada. This fund will help strengthen the sector as it supports Canadian communities as they recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Canadian Red Cross, alongside Community Foundations of Canada and the United Way Centraide of Canada, are grateful for the opportunity to submit a proposal to assist with the CSRF. If the proposal submission is successful, then more information will become available at that time.
